Introducing Skyy Black, A Rising Star

•Can you tell her a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
One of my friend’s was a famous photographer for the box covers for adult movies. I felt comfortable doing my first sexy photo shoot with him when I turned 18. He was interested in working with a different company at the time and when he showed his work to the new company, the company was very interested in working with me. He decided upon himself to give them my phone number to contact me. I denied working with them for about 3 months before I decided to shoot my first scene.
•Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
I thought it was interesting meeting celebrities that I am a fan of and realizing that they knew who I was and were super fans of me.
•Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”? *
I would say don’t shoot so many scenes. After I shot my first scene I blew up a month later. I realized I could still make money off of just my fame, so I did about 4 scenes a year. However when you’re first starting out and trying to get your name out there I would recommend 2 scenes in a month. Also, figure out your niche and make sure whatever it is that you enjoy it..
•None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
The two people that I would say that played a pivotal role in my success is Pasion & Devlin Weed. As I mentioned him before Pasion was a photographer and talent agent. Devlin helped me book scenes and provided transportation and moral support even if he wasn’t working on the scenes with me.
•How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I feel like I have helped people avoid cheating on their partners and help couples explore their sexuality. I’m basically giving women tutorials on how to perform oral sex on their significant others.
•Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“It’s not what you do, it’s how you do it.”
People are always going to have preconceptions about you and judge you no matter what. Even though I’m a pornstar, I carry myself as a businesswoman.
