’m originally from Wolverhampton, but I spent a large part of my life moving back and forth
between Wolverhampton and Peckham in South London. Growing up in those environments
shaped a lot of who I am today. Life wasn’t always easy — I came from difficult surroundings
where hardship and street life were part of everyday reality.
My journey hasn’t been straightforward. I’ve experienced serious challenges, including
spending two years in prison and surviving being shot three times in one incident. Going
through experiences like that changes your perspective on life. It made me realise how
fortunate I am to still be here, and it gave me a deeper sense of purpose.
Music became that purpose for me. It helped pull me away from the streets and gave me
something positive to focus my energy on. Instead of going down the wrong path, I found a
way to express myself, tell my story, and channel my experiences into something
meaningful.
Growing up, I was raised mainly by my mum, as my dad wasn’t around for much of my
childhood. Football was also a big part of my early life, and I played for teams including West
Ham, Charlton, and Leyton Orient. That discipline and competitive mindset still stay with me
today.
My connection to music started naturally when I was younger — freestyling with friends on
the school bus, beatboxing, and just enjoying the creativity of it all. Over time, I realized it
was more than just fun; it was something I genuinely had talent and passion for.
What makes my journey unique is everything I’ve survived and overcome. Coming through
those experiences gave me a different outlook on life, and now I feel driven to use music as
a way to grow, inspire others, and continue building something positive from my story.
I first started recording music properly around four to five years ago when I bought my first
home studio setup. That was the moment I decided to fully invest in myself and take music
seriously as a career rather than just a hobby.
My very first official video release was a track called “Chiraq Wave”, which I released around
eight years ago. At the time, I was experimenting with music and finding my sound, but life
circumstances eventually led me away from it for a while. After serving two years in prison, I
came home with a different mindset and a stronger focus. One of the first things I did was
buy a computer and build my own recording setup so I could dedicate myself fully to music
and stay on a positive path.
I originally started out making straight rap music, but over time my sound evolved into what
I’d describe as melodic or “wavy” rap — blending bars with melody and emotion. Alongside
that, I also create dancehall-inspired music, connecting back to my Jamaican roots and
influences.
One of the biggest moments in my journey so far has been releasing my latest video,
“Planking,” which was filmed in Jamaica, where my family is originally from. That project
means a lot to me personally because it brought me closer to family members I hadn’t seen
in years, as well as relatives I was meeting for the first time. It became more than just a
music video — it was a personal and cultural experience that I’ll always value.
I’ve also had the opportunity to perform live at open mic events in Leicester, which helped
build my confidence and connection with audiences. Most of my music is available on
Spotify and other streaming platforms, allowing listeners to follow my journey and growth as
an artist.
My music represents real life — struggle, pain, growth, happiness, celebration, and positivity.
I try to turn difficult experiences into something uplifting through music. Whether it’s a
motivational track, a melodic vibe, or a party record, the message behind it is always about
pushing energy in the right direction and finding positivity even through hard times.
Music Inspirations:
My musical influences come from a mix of classic hip-hop, modern melodic rap, and
reggae/dancehall culture. Growing up, I was heavily inspired by artists who told real stories
and brought emotion, authenticity, and energy into their music.
On the rap side, artists like the Fugees, Jadakiss, The Lox, Dipset, Biggie Smalls, and Big L
had a major influence on me. Jadakiss especially inspired my lyrical style and approach to
rap because of his authenticity, delivery, and storytelling.
As my sound evolved into more melodic and “wavy” music, artists like Future, Lil Baby, and
Young Thug influenced the way I blend melody with rap while still keeping emotion and
realism in the music.
My Jamaican roots also play a huge role in my sound and identity as an artist. I grew up
listening to legends such as Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Capleton, Sizzla Kalonji, Mavado,
Vybz Kartel, Merciless, Garnett Silk, Beres Hammond, and Top Cat. Dancehall and reggae
have always been part of my environment and upbringing, so naturally that energy found its
way into my music.
A lot of my lyrics are inspired by personal experiences — the pain, struggles, losses,
lessons, and growth I’ve experienced throughout life. Music became a way for me to express
emotions that are sometimes difficult to speak about directly. I try to be honest in my music
because I want listeners to connect with something real.
The message behind my music is about balance — showing both the difficult moments and
the positive side of overcoming them. Even when I speak about pain or hardship, the goal is
always to turn negative situations into motivation, growth, and positive energy. I want
listeners to feel inspired, understood, uplifted, and connected through my music.

Future Plans / Collaborations:
My main goal moving forward is to keep growing steadily as an artist and expand my music
into different countries and audiences around the world. For me, success is about
progression — even if it’s step by step. I just want to continue building, improving, and
reaching more people through my music while staying true to my sound and story.
I want my music to be recognized for its uniqueness. My sound combines melodic rap,
real-life storytelling, motivation, and dancehall influence in a way that reflects my
background, experiences, and personality. I believe there’s still another level for me
creatively, and I’m focused on mastering my craft and continuing to develop my sound even
further.
Artists I’d love to collaborate with include Future, Lil Baby, and Young Adz, as they’ve all
influenced my musical direction in different ways. At the same time, I’m always open to
working with other artists and creatives who connect with my energy and vision.
I’m also very interested in expanding into live performances, festivals, radio, interviews, and
magazine features. I see every opportunity as another way to connect with people and grow
my audience internationally.
For me, success isn’t only about music or financial gain — it’s also about helping others. I
want to be in a position where I can support people who come from difficult backgrounds or
challenging situations and show them that positive change is possible. Family is always the
priority for me — healthy before wealthy.
In the next five years, I see myself in a much stronger and more successful position than I
am today — more growth, more wins, more love, and more stability for myself and my family.
I want to continue building a life where I can enjoy what I do creatively while inspiring others
through my journey.
Outside of music, I’m also interested in fashion, fitness, and acting. I have my own brand
called FML — Forevermore Life, represented by an infinity symbol to symbolise growth,
continuity, and moving forward through life.
Fitness is another major part of who I am. I’m a qualified Level 3 personal trainer, and I want
to continue motivating people to stay healthy and disciplined. I believe age should never limit
confidence or self-improvement, and I want to inspire people — especially those around my
age — to understand that staying fit and focused is always possible.
Acting is also something I’ve always wanted to pursue since I was young. It’s a genuine
passion of mine, and I’d be open to any acting opportunities that come through music or
entertainment in the future.
