Mello Cool AF born Tatyana Echols is the best slept on female artist to hit the scene.
Her delivery is raw , uncut , gritty , and bodacious. She is not afraid to get all in your face with lyrics that are tenacious and audacious.
Rose in one of Atlanta’s most notorious housing projects Capitol Homes, Mello looked for inspiration from artist like T.I, Biggie , and Young Jeezy to cope with the everyday struggles that life brought her way. Later moving to East Atlanta she was quickly introduced to the sounds of the street savvy Gucci Mane, an East Atlanta legend. She began writing music to instrumentals and recording them on her computer. She then teamed up with a few friends and they recorded “ I Know U Aint Buckin.”
After graduating Mello became a teacher utilizing her musical talents to educate children. She started a mentoring program in which she mentored in total 13 children. She also coached youth sporting teams at a few recreation centers in the metro Atlanta area.
In 2016 she decided she was ready to take a leap and give the music world a taste of what Ole Mello had to offer the industry. She began working with GMP Champion and the two of them created and released her first single “ Beastmode” . Quickly gaining the attention of ATL’s night life Her career was on the rise. Her ambitious and hustle landed her the opportunity to compete in Raleigh, NC for the Next to Rise Tour. Since then she has to open up for several major mainstream artist like Dj Unk, Stuey Rock, and Moneybagg Yo, just to name a few.
Other accolades included performing for industry moguls and producers like DJ Scream and DJ Holiday, studio sessions with CME The Label, and meeting with Streetz 94.5 DJ Blu.
Currently Mello is working on her next project. She also has her own radio show Unleashed on Air that broadcast nationally every Saturday from 3pm to 5pm via On Blast Radio. With her growing status she is also providing a platform for other independent artists.
