Kid Cudi has revealed he is no longer doing a joint album with Travis Scott, but hasn’t closed the door on future collaborations.
On Wednesday (December 21), Cudder took to Twitter for an early morning Q&A session with fans, during which one follower asked him if his project with La Flame, which was tentatively titled The Scotts, was still on the way.
Unfortunately, the Moon Man informed the fan that the anticipated album is no longer happening, saying that ship has sailed. “Is The Scotts album still on the cards,” the fan asked, to which Cudi replied: “Naw im not doin that. The moment has passed.”
Not all hope was lost, though, as Cudder promised another fan that he and Scott will still release more material together. The Cactus Jack rapper previewed a new song with Mr. Rager just a few months ago.

Kid Cudi and Travis Scott released what was thought to be the lead single from their joint album, “The Scotts,” in April 2020.
Produced by Mike Dean, Dot Da Genius, Plain Pat and Take a Daytrip, the ominous, hard-hitting track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard, marking Cudi’s first-ever chart-topper and Travis’ third. It has since been certified platinum.
Travis told GQ later that year that he and Cudi — who he’s hailed as his favorite artist and biggest inspiration — had “a lot” in the works, while Cudder hinted as recently as September 2021 that the project was still happening.
“It’ll happen. Not sure when, but it will,” he told fans on Twitter.
