Cam’ron has announced that he is writing a memoir for publishing giant Simon & Schuster after inking a $750,000 deal.
The book will chronicle the Dipset legend’s rise in Hip Hop and late career pivot to being a successful media personality with his own talk shows.
Killa Cam’s memoir will also take fans behind the scenes on some of the most iconic moments throughout his eclectic life and career.
In a statement, Cam said: “I’m happy to have this deal done. Hopefully the book will be released February of 2026 and that everyone can take something from my memoir when they read it.”
On the subject of Cam’s writing skills, he recently claimed that he originally penned “I Really Mean It” for Lil Kim.
Speaking on a recent episode of his sports talk show It Is What It Is, Cam revealed: “I did write a song for Lil’ Kim and she didn’t want it, and the lyrics changed and I ended up keeping it for myself.”
He continued: “It was one of my biggest records, but I wrote ‘I Really Mean It’ for Lil’ Kim. Same format, and she didn’t like it. That’s one of the best things, ’cause that’s one of my close-out songs, to be totally honest with you, and she didn’t want the song. I’m happy she didn’t.”
