Born and raised in New Orleans, BriJean Johnson — better known as Jeabriie Rielle (pronounced Jaa-bree-ree-al) — is an emerging R&B artist whose soul-uplifting voice and powerful lyrics captivate listeners and stir emotions.

She ignited the flames of her musical journey at 7 years old, singing in school and the St. Peter Claver Youth Choir. Her exposure to the rich musical heritage of New Orleans shaped her breathtaking, awe-inspiring sound, one that encompasses heartfelt storytelling with deep, expressive vocals.

In the early 2000s, Jeabriie relocated to Southeast Texas, where she continued to spread her amazing musical talents. She launched the popular online series “BriMix Monday,” where she showcased her vocal prowess and songwriting talent by remixing some of her supporters’ favorite songs. This platform quickly gained her recognition and a loyal following.

In 2023, Jeabriie took a significant step in her career by signing with Southstar Music Group. Since then, she has collaborated with Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum producer D Bottz, contributing to several projects including The Cookout Vol. 2 & The Cookout R&B album, which feature a variety of talented artists and producers.

Her debut single “Lovin You,” produced by Necronam, released in the summer of 2024, is a testament to her artistry and her ability to convey deep emotions through music. Directly after its release, Jeabriie’s artistry rapidly became known throughout Houston and other cities across the world.

Jeabriie has performed for the L.O.U.D Music & Art Festival, The House of Blues, The Core DJ’s Retreat (Atlanta), and The T.R.A.P Awards, where she won Top R&B Artist. She followed up with “Thick Girl Motion,” an anthem for plus-size beauties around the world, featuring label mate Canda’ce and emerging bounce artist OnlyHeaven — along with a remix of “Lovin You” that takes listeners back to her New Orleans roots.

Her latest single, “My Lah Yea Yea,” continues to celebrate her New Orleans heritage in both language and sound — and is currently gaining strong traction on multiple radio stations.
