Young Dolph Says That He’s Done With Rap

By on March 31, 2021
Young Dolph looks like he’ll be stepping away in the midst of his prime at the age of 35. The Memphis native teased his retirement on Tuesday (March 30) while promoting his sequel joint project Dum and Dummer 2 with Key Glock.
“I hope y’all enjoying the new mixtape, it’s my last project putting out,” he admitted in his caption. “I wasn’t gonna tell y’all but i thought y’all should know im done with music. ENJOY.” This isn’t the first time the Paper Route EMPIRE boss has hinted at hanging up his mic for good. In March 2020, he spoke about retiring to spend more time with his kids but ended up releasing his Rich Slave album a few months later.
“I’m done doing music so I can go kick it with my son,” Dolph stated at the time. “Key Glock is already poised to be the new torchbearer.”
