The R Report Media Group returns with this season premier of the High School Athlete of the Week. Each week we select an high school athlete spotlighting their performance. Rather it’s football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, track & field, etc… giving them another platform for exposure. We’re getting off everything this week with spotlighting Berrien County High running back Gene Watson. Gene had a record breaking night. Setting a single game rushing record with 334 yards, along with 6 touchdowns making it one of the most prolific days in Berrien County football history. Beating the Lanier County Bulldogs 47-21.
