Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping collaboration with SZA “Luther” has raced paced the one billion streams landmark on Spotify.
Only released in November, it is Lamar’s fastest song to reach the milestone, surpassing his previous record with “Not Like Us”.
While “Not Like Us” took eight months to notch up one billion streams, “Luther” has achieved it in just seven.
“Luther” is now Lamar’s eleventh song to hit one billion streams on the platform, joining hits such as “All the Stars”, “Humble” and “Money Trees”.
“Luther” in particular has been a record breaking hit, spending 13 consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year while it dominated the Hip Hop chart for 25 weeks.
