According to federal court documents, which were obtained by TMZ on Friday (June 16), the Baton Rouge native earned himself an indictment thanks to some ill-advised Instagram Live posts.
Boosie was taken into custody outside of the courtroom on Wednesday (June 14) as soon as his gun case hearing in San Diego, CA, wrapped. Once the state of California dropped the charges against the rapper, it left the door wide open for the feds to step in.
Boosie Badazz was reportedly filming a music video with local rapper Bully Three when he was originally arrested in San Diego back in early May. The Baton Rouge native was booked on a total of four charges including felon in possession of a firearm, concealed carry weapon in a vehicle, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and unlisted owner of a registered firearm.
