50 Cent has come out a winner over Young Buck as the two former friends finally settle their long-running financial dispute.
50 will receive $200,000 from the former G-Unit rapper to finally settle his debts relating to a $250,000 loan he received from his then label boss.
Over the years, Buck has repeatedly contested that the loan was in fact an album advance but the bankruptcy court ruled in 50 Cent’s favor.
The liquidation of Buck’s various assets raised around $1 million with around half of that already spent on various legal and administrative costs.
50 and the rest of Buck’s creditors will split the remaining sum with a distribution plan to be finalized in the next few weeks.
