Rod Wave has a lot of reasons to celebrate including the fact that his new album Beautiful Mind has kept Bad Bunny out of the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.
According to Billboard, Rod Wave scored his second No. 1 album on Sunday (August 21) as Beautiful Mind moved 115,000 equivalent units earned in its first week, of which 113,000 consisted of SEA units, equaling 157.73 million on-demand streams of the album.
Rod Wave stopped Bad Bunny’s massive Un Verano Sin Ti from taking the No. 1 spot, a feat Beyoncé achieved with her latest album RENAISSANCE. However, NBA YoungBoy’s The Last Slimeto fell short last week when the rapper lost to the Puerto Rican megastar by 400 units.
Megan Thee Stallion’s sophomore album Traumazine also debuted at No. 4 after moving 63,000 equivalent album units, of which 54,000 were comprised of SEA units, equaling 85.72 million on-demand official streams. Traumazine becomes her sixth straight project to crack the Billboard Top 10.
