
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA has made literal the phrase “All the world’s a stage”. Starting on the stage of Germantown SDA church, Cedrina trained and decided to expand beyond those four walls. Some of her earliest credits include Pagliacci with the Houston Grand Opera and Oliver.
As Cedrina continued to grow in her artistry, she fell in love with telling the stories of a powerful people. Some of her favorite Theater credits include; Love Lies (Hinton Battle), Jelly’s Last Jam (NBTF 2019), The Black Nativity (Mabel Robinson), Don’t Bother Me I Can’t Cope (2015), Crowns (NBTF 2017), and By a Black Hand (NBTF 2015). Cedrina’s love for learning and perfecting her craft led her to NYC where she studied at New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. While in the city, Cedrina learned a new way to live off of music and began working with multiple event bands in venues across the tri-state. Her voice eventually led her to London, England where she worked as a backing vocalist for Disco Legend, Boney M.
Performing Internationally, Cedrina was blessed to live in; London, Zurich, Moscow and Guangzhou over the past 10 years while touring and opening for various artist like Akon and George Clinton. Shortly after winning “The Voice of Astana”, Cedrina partnered with various brands to brighten their spaces with live entertainment. (The W Hotels, Flatiron Hotel NYC,
Toshi’s Livingroom NYC).
As the years pass, it becomes more apparent Cedrina’s belief that “your gifts will provide” as she continues to use her many talents. When not on stage, Cedrina has also dabbled in adding value behind the scenes on various sets. Recent credits include NAOMI (CW – Directed by Ava Duverney) and WOKE (Hulu). Print credits include Empower Global, a platform for
black luxury spearheaded by Diddy himself. Co-Founder of The Remedy Entertainment, a full service entertainment company bringing mobile bartending, live entertainment and custom gifts to one umbrella. This year look forward to the release of Cedrina Shari’s debut single “Love Again” and children’s book.
