Soulja, born Charles Doles, was arrested on Wednesday (Sept. 18) by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, reports WTOC11. Another man with alleged connection to the crime, 48-year-old Adrian Dove, was arrested on Sept. 3 by the New York-New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force in Ithaca, N.Y.
Authorities believe both men have something to do with the killing of 33-year-old Dorian Brooks on May 19. On that date, around 2:50 a.m., police received a call about a person injured near I-16 at Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. When they arrived, they found Brooks who had succumbed to gunshot wounds. Soulja has a warrant for murder while Dove is facing a party to a crime charge.
XXL has confirmed Baby Soulja is being held by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department without bail. He and Dove are expected to be extradited to the Chatham County Detention Center.
