The former power couple had been married since September of 2017, which had originally been kept a secret until TMZ got ahold of the marriage certificate details in 2018. Offset originally proposed to Cardi on stage in October of 2017 in the midst of a performance at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia.
September 7, 2020 Cardi and Offset do have one child together. Their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus was born on July 10, 2018. Court docs obtained by TMZ find Cardi filing for primary custody of their two-year-old daughter with Offset covering child support.
The Bronx native posted a cryptic quote to her Instagram story over the weekend in regards to letting go.
“Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time,” to which she also added, “It’s time.”
