Jason Johnson (born June 14, 1985 Albany, Georgia) better know as Nyght Ryder is an up and coming producer quickly rising up the ranks in the music industry. At a young age, he quickly developed a talent and passion for music. At age 10, his uncle, who had been raising him since he was 4 months old, bought him a Yamaha keyboard. He would sit in his room and create drum rhythems with the drum keys and record everything on a small tape recorder. By the time he reached high school, friends and other students began taking notice of his musical talents. He was a baritone player in the Westover High School Marching Patriot band and also could arrange music for the band to play at games. He really started taking producing serious by the time he reached college. While in band at Albany State University, he would make beats at a fellow bandmate’s apartment. He got his 1st break in 2005 producing the song “Stunt On Dem Hoes” by DJ Tremayne featuring The Cotton Pickaz. Nyght Ryder would also go on to produce for The Show Stoppas and Tha Flo Mastas, 2 of Atlanta’s hottest dance crews during the snap music craze. Nyght Ryder would also go on to work with artists such as DJ Unk, Baby D, Fabo of D4L, Roscoe Dash, K Camp, A1 the Supergroup, Tha Joker, JT Money, and Rocko. In 2012, Nyght Ryder would sign to Stuey Rock’s Fresherr Den U Entertainment. The hit single by Stuey Rock  “For Me” was released in late 2014 and the video was in regular rotation on MTV Jams. Nyght Ryder is currently working with Mizz Twerksum of the world famous Twerk Team, KP On Da Beat, and a host of local talent in the 229.
