Q: Tell us a little about Yung Cyn?

Yung Cyn: Yung Cyn raw… Yung Cyn confident… Yung Cyn genuine… Yung Cyn FAF…Yung Cyn OMG…

Q:  Who were some of your favorite artists growing up?

Yung Cyn:  2 Pac, Trick Daddy, 8 Ball & MJG, No Limit, U.G.K

Q: At what age did you decided that rapping was something that you wanted to do?

Yung Cyn: Can’t really answer that cause I been doing music since I can remember… But if I had to answer it, I would say probably 12 years old.

Q:  Can you recall the first the songs that you ever record?

Yung Cyn:  Dear God… I wrote it to 2 Pac Shed So Many Tears beat.

Q: How did you & Yung Jai link up?

Yung Cyn: Real long story short I was da gas man… Bra needed sum tree ended up catching me while I was writing sum wanted 2 check it out so I gave it 2 him… Come to find out he rapped too dats how it happened dat was in 2012.

Q: If y’all could work with any mainstream artist, who would it be with, and why?

Yung Cyn: It’s so many but shit… Ummm… Rite now I’ma go with Gates because dude energy turned up right now.

Q: The new single Slidin featuring Yung Jai is gaining a lot of buzz. What’s the concept behind this new single?

Yung Cyn:  #SLIDIN Slidin is life… We just painted a picture of every day problems couples go thru weather because the nigga or the female cheating… Lying… Or just emotional asf… But the concept was just to be as realistic as possible… Honestly Slidin wasn’t posed 2 be… Had my car not been acting up it would have been another song… We might not be talking…

Q: What can we expect from Yung Cyn & Yung Jai in 2019?

Yung Cyn:  Everything… Can’t say much right now… Lets just say Yung Cyn and Yung Jai trying to be house hold names… #Slidn da movement will come to life.

Q:  Any last comments that you want to make?

Yung Cyn: We appreciate everyone who has something to do with FAFOMGENT… Shot out my manager Oouchie Bates he seen my vision God move mountains… Cupcake, Sprinkles, Zae daddy love y’all… The R Report for blessing us with this interview.

 

Q: Tell us a little about Yung Jai?

Yung Jai: Yung Jai is a dedicated achiever who believes it takes hard work,focus,and a whole lot of grind to get to the sky from out the mud.

Q:  Who were some of your favorite artists growing up?

Yung Jai:  Lil Wayne just because the way he put words together to make you think and your always wondering dang bet he can’t go harder than that and he proves it wrong. Lil Boosie simply because of the realism in his work, and the strive he had.

Q: At what age did you decide that rapping was something that you wanted to do?

Yung Jai:  Man ever since my brother had come to live with me and my mom and he showed me how to record on a boom box and cassette tape. Lol we would be up for hours making beats off the table.

Q:  Can you recall the first the songs that you ever record?

Yung Jai: Not really it’s been so much.

Q:  How did you & Yung Cyn link up?

Yung Jai: I had just moved to Alma Ga and my dawg was burning that gas gas and I was like bro I got to have some. We walked around the projects to 5th st. I knocked on the door Cyn opened up I said, I want what ever he smoking and, we kicked it ever since.

Q:  If y’all could work with any mainstream artist, who would it be with, and why?

Yung Jai:  Weezy, bc he’s been in the game for 1 and 2 the people he has signed are now on the top charts. People he has worked with may have learned something from him and took it to better heights. Last but not least a million in one week.

Q:  Any last comments that you want to make?

Yung Jai:  For anybody and everybody: your current situation don’t effect your final destination. Live Fly, Grind Hard, and if they hate let them hate.
