MY NAME IS DC BUT MY STAGE NAME IS WERIDO. I AM 28 YEARS OLD. I WAS BORN IN DENVER BUT RAISED IN ATLANTA. I LEARNED MUSIC FROM MY FATHER , WHO WAS A DJ IN DENVER. THE TYPE OF MUSIC I DO IS HIP HOP/RAP. YOU CAN FIND MY MUSIC ON ITUNES, GOOGLE PLAY, SPOTIFY, SOUNDCLOUD, AND REVERBERATION. MY HIT SONG IS CALLED ‘BACK ON MY SHIT’. I STARTED MY OWN BRAND CALLED BWOD, WHICH STANDS FOR (B)E(W)ARE (O)F (D)HAWERIDO. I PERFORMED AT DIFFERENT PLACES IN ATLANTA GA. FOLLOW ME ON IG @DHA_WERID.

Q: What made you want to become an hip hop artist?

Werido:  My father side of family work with music, so I grew up around it.  Plus I express myself better while doing what I love.
Q:  Who were some of your favorite artists coming up?
Werido:  My top 5 are T.I, Dro, Wayne, the  get rich or die tryin 50 Cent, and Outkast.
Q: What’s the meaning behind your stage name Werido?
Werido:  To let humans know you don’t have to follow others to fit in. Be the weird one in the group it’s better to be yourself.
Q: Can you recall your very first track recording?
Werido: Yes I can. The first track I ever recorded was a song I did call “Frienemy”.
Q: What is your process that you take while writing, and recording a song?
Werido:  I like to be on Mars.  Good vibes, just me, the beat, and magic happens lol.
Q: If you could work with any mainstream artist, who would it be, and why?
Werido:  That is a hard choice I like a lot of mainstream artist. But if I really had to pick, it would be Wayne just cause he really made it clear to be who you are if people like it 👍🏾 if not 👍🏾 to I’m me.
Q: What mixtape, or single are you currently pushing right now?
Werido:  I’m still pushing Crews Day. My mixtape, and also a track with Country Gravy  called “Really Real”.
Q: Tell us about your brand BWOD?
Werido:  #BWOD has two meanings to it’s Be Weird Or Die, and for under age humans Be Ware Of Da weridos hints alien heads 👽👽.
Q: What can we expect from Werido in 2018?
Werido:  In 2018 you will see a whole lot of Werido, I mean new tracks.  I’m trying to be yo favorite rapper in 2018.
Q: Any last comments that you want to make?
Werido:  Its bout to be a #WeridoWynter
