Birdman & Juvenile Is Working on a Joint Album

Birdman and Juvenile are now working on a collaborative album.
Although details are kept under wraps, Baby and Juve are apparently planning to drop their joint album on Cash Money Records some time this year. Their first single for the project is “Just Another Gangsta” and a video has already been shot for it. In a clip from the video, we see the two rappers kicking it in front of a flossy whip.
This reveal is one people probably wouldn’t have seen coming back in 2010. Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Juve was one of the biggest artists on Cash Money (aside from Lil Wayne) with his 1998 breakout solo album 400 Degreez reaching quadruple platinum status. The New Orleans rhymer originally left left the label in 2001 due to contractual disputes with the label.
In 2003, Juvenile hit Cash Money with a lawsuit claiming he was cheated out of royalties. The two sides settled out of court and Juve returned to the label for one final album, Juve The Great, which went platinum in 2005. Juve told XXL that he was given 50 percent of the record sales for Juve the Great as part of his settlement. He would eventually leave Cash Money the following year to establish his rap crew UTP at Atlantic Records.
